So apparently Andalites are my equivalent of the happy pill. Sooo happymaking, guys. You have no idea.
And yeah! Now I have a buncha dumb baby doodles. Experimenting with variations and whatnot. Male and female here... I know it's a popular concept in the fandom but eh, starting to think I'd rather not have such a blatant difference in colour between genders.
Females colour variations in my head-canon do tend to lean a little more to a purple-y blue, but it' not with too huge a difference from the males I think. Plus I'd say Andalite males can probably have a purple-ish colouring too, though it's uncommon.
That's lil!Ax on the bottom there. The others are just random colour tests, stripey variations and whatnot. I figured as kids they'd have less tan on their bodies- that it would spread as they got older. So... yeah.. uh. There's my spiel.

You know, it's rare to see a 'centaur' type creature that looks like a single cohesive being. Whether they are aliens or mythical creatures so many with the horizontal body in the back and upright body in the front just look like Frankenstein nightmares. But these. The way you draw these adorable little guys, they really look organic, fluid and alive. I love the playful postures. I haven't commented on DA in years. But I just had to give you props for this. It made me smile.
